The more I watch, the less I see this team being able to survive in the playoffs.
One positive point is that each time the Bulls lose, they seem to be shooting under 40% from the field. Last night they shot 34%, and only lost by 5 points. I know, I’m always looking for the silver lining. But its true. I mean, as Skiles hinted, professional players who are shooters have to be able to knock down an open, uncontested, 12-20 foot shot about 80% of the time.
Sam Smith wants Gasol. I don’t blame him. But I want Gray. Get him some minutes, the one man who could maybe give us some points in the paint. I also want to see Ben Wallace dunking more instead of missing little layups and dinkers around the hoop. Frustration. And the schedule doesn’t get much easier.
