- Derrick Rose and Rajon Rondo were strikingly good in the playoff opener. In fact, if the Celtics win, perhaps more media attention goes to Rondo.
- Don’t forget how close we were to losing this game. If Pierce knocks down his free throw, we lose.
- Hard to say whether this game will be indicative of the series – whether we have two evenly matched teams and this is how good the Celtics are without KG, or if the Celtics just had an extremely poor showing. My guess is the former, but that could just be my heart talking.
- Again, Derrick Rose will be special. The kid shifts gears like no other.
- Hopefully this game hasn’t tired out D Rose.
- VDN continues to grow on me. Perhaps its him changing his style. Obviously from my past posts you know one of my main pet peeves was that he would sit D Rose at the end of games in crucial moments. That did not happen today.
- Joakim and Tyrus continue to develop. Wow if these guys play like today we should be up for a very good series.
